- Contact details, including your name where requested, phone number, email address and postcode.
- Enquiry details, including the service selected, items to be restored, preferred appointment date and message.
- Photos you upload through our forms or send by email or WhatsApp.
- Booking and service information, including the service address, quotation, invoice details, payment status and warranty records.

How and why we use your data
-
Responding to enquiries and preparing quotations — contract:
we use your contact details, postcode, service information and photos to take steps at your request before a possible booking.
-
Providing the booked service — contract:
we use your details to arrange appointments, perform the work, communicate with you and administer the guarantee.
-
Invoices, accounting and legal records — legal obligation:
we keep the information required for accounting, tax and other legal obligations.
-
Website and business security — legitimate interests:
we may process limited technical information to prevent spam, fraud, misuse and security incidents.
-
Optional analytics and advertising measurement — consent:
these technologies are used only where you make the relevant choice through our cookie banner.
We do not use enquiry details to send unrelated marketing messages unless you have separately agreed to receive them.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site to work. Others (analytics/advertising) are used only if you agree via the cookie banner.
You can change your choices at any time using the cookie settings link in the banner (or by clearing cookies in your browser).
Google Ads and measurement
We use Google Ads and related measurement services to understand whether an enquiry resulted from our advertising. Non-essential advertising storage and personalised advertising are disabled unless you provide the relevant consent through our cookie banner.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only where necessary with service providers that help us operate the business, including:
- Netlify — website hosting and form processing.
- Our email provider — receiving and responding to enquiries.
- WhatsApp/Meta — where you choose to contact us or send photos through WhatsApp.
- Google — advertising and measurement, subject to your cookie choices.
- Payment and accounting providers — where required to process payment, issue invoices and maintain financial records.
- Professional advisers or public authorities — where disclosure is required by law or is necessary to establish or defend legal claims.
We do not sell or rent your personal data.
International data transfers
Some of our service providers may process personal data outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we use providers that apply recognised safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections for international data transfers.
How long we keep data
- Enquiries that do not become bookings, including submitted photos, are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last contact.
- Customer, job, invoice and payment records are normally kept for up to 6 years for accounting, tax and legal purposes.
- Records required to administer a longer guarantee may be kept until that guarantee has expired.
- Cookie and advertising data is kept according to the settings and retention periods of the relevant service provider.
We may keep information for longer where required by law or where it is needed to establish or defend a legal claim.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:
- request access to the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- ask us to delete or restrict the use of your data;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- request data portability where applicable; and
- withdraw consent for optional cookies and advertising measurement at any time.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before consent was withdrawn. To exercise your rights, email info@bath-solutions.co.uk.
Information required to provide a quote
Our enquiry forms require a phone number, email address and postcode so that we can identify the service area, respond to the enquiry and clarify the work required. If this information is not provided, we may be unable to prepare or discuss a quotation. Uploading a photo is optional.
Automated decision-making
We do not use personal data submitted through our enquiry forms to make automated decisions about customers.
Contact and complaints
If you have concerns about how we use your personal data, please contact us first at info@bath-solutions.co.uk.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
