What this service is (and when it’s perfect)
If you have a small chip from dropping something, a scratch, or a minor crack, we can usually repair just the damaged area. It’s a focused job that restores the surface, helps prevent water getting in, and improves the look without doing the whole bath.
- Typical time on site: 1–2 hours
- Colour‑matched top coat (blended into the surrounding area)
- From £130 for standard small repairs (see pricing below)
- Guarantee: 1 year on the repaired area (adhesion & waterproofing)
Important note about “invisible” repairs
We aim to make the colour match as close as possible. However, we do not guarantee a perfect match in gloss (shine), because the repaired spot has fresh gloss and the surrounding surface may be worn or dulled.
How the repair works
We rebuild the damaged area, then blend a colour‑matched finish so it looks clean, smooth, and sealed.
1) Prep & clean
We clean, de‑grease, and prepare the area so materials bond properly.
2) Build the shape
We use a high‑strength filler system to rebuild the chip/crack and restore the contour.
3) Colour match & blend
A colour‑matched top coat is applied and blended into the surrounding surface.
When a local repair is not the right option
- Large areas of worn enamel, dull surface, heavy staining, or multiple chips across the bath.
- Structural cracks (movement in the bath base) or damage that keeps spreading.
- Previous coatings peeling or flaking across big sections.
In those cases, you’ll usually get a better long‑term result with a full resurfacing. See Bath Resurfacing Packages.
