A simple way to choose
Tiles looking tired? Add tile resurfacing/painting so the area around the bath matches the new finish.
Freestanding bath? Exterior painting completes the look — especially for cast iron baths.
Old waste/overflow? Replacing it can prevent leaks and makes the job look properly finished.
Tile resurfacing / painting
Refresh old tiles around the bath or shower without ripping them out. We use a specialist two‑part coating designed for wet areas. It’s a clean way to modernise the look and make tiles easier to maintain.
- Good for outdated colours and patterns.
- Works well when the tiles are sound but look tired.
- Proper preparation and masking are the difference between “cheap” and “professional”.
Usually done as an add‑on alongside your main bath job.
Exterior bath painting
If you have a freestanding bath, the outside often needs attention too. We can repaint the exterior to suit your bathroom — for example, a modern colour while keeping the inside a clean white.
- Moisture‑resistant finish suitable for bathrooms.
- Popular for vintage cast iron baths.
- Ask about colour options when requesting your quote.
Drain, overflow & waste replacement
A newly resurfaced bath can still be let down by old, rusty or leaking fittings. We can replace the waste and overflow so everything seals properly and looks tidy.
Practical note
It’s not mandatory, but if your waste/overflow is old or hasn’t been cleaned or changed in years, replacing it during resurfacing can help prevent leaks and blockages later.
We can fit a new kit supplied by you, or source one (depending on availability and finish).
Additional services cost
Prices are quoted individually. The final cost depends on the size/area (tiles), the bath type (exterior painting), access, and the amount of preparation required. For an accurate quote, send a few photos and your postcode.
