Your Guarantee in plain English
Our guarantee is focused on the finish itself: adhesion and application-related defects. The guarantee length depends on the coating option you choose.
Covers adhesion on the repaired area.
Covers adhesion, bubbling and blistering.
Covers adhesion, bubbling and blistering.
Covers adhesion, bubbling and blistering.
How to choose the right option
- Rentals / quick refresh: Budget can be fine if you just need a clean look and normal use.
- Family bathroom / daily use: Standard acrylic coating is the best balance of durability and value.
- Long-term home / best finish: Premium acrylic coating is the “do it once” option.
- Localised damage only: if the rest of the bath is sound, a chip/crack repair is usually enough.
What the guarantee covers
We guarantee the adhesion and integrity of the coating where the issue is directly attributable to our preparation and application. This includes defects such as peeling, bubbling, blistering or other adhesion failure.
The guarantee is valid for the period shown above (1, 5, 7 or 10 years) from the date the work is completed. Keep your invoice/receipt as proof of the service level purchased.
What the guarantee does not cover
- User damage: discolouration or damage from aggressive/abrasive cleaners, bleach misuse, hair dye, paint, or physical impact.
- Structural issues: recurring cracks/splits in the original bath structure (movement, flexing, underlying damage).
- Maintenance: mould, limescale, rust (including reappearing rust) or staining caused by poor ventilation or lack of routine cleaning.
- Third parties: damage by other trades or anyone else during/after the curing period.
- Sealants: silicone/sealant replacement or failure (sealant is a separate maintenance item).
- Exterior painting: we coat the visible edge/outer sides only; the hidden back surface against the wall is not coated.
- Heavily compromised repairs: we cannot guarantee repairs where the bath structure is severely weakened (for example, from heavy impact).
Before we arrive
- Clear the bathroom: remove toiletries, mats, towels and anything stored around the bath.
- Payment: full payment is due on completion, before the technician leaves.
- No leaks: we cannot start if taps/waste are leaking. If we cannot proceed due to faulty plumbing, a non-refundable call-out charge of £50 applies.
- Shower screens & fixtures: please ensure shower screens are removed (unless agreed in advance). If removal is straightforward we can sometimes help, but it must be arranged beforehand.
- Previous coatings: if we discover an old resurfacing layer that requires extra removal work, a surcharge of £80 may apply.
- Working environment: no other trades, sanding, drilling or dusty work in the bathroom during our service.
- Access & utilities: we need good lighting and a working power supply.
Curing & aftercare
The surface will feel dry before it has fully cured. The first 24 hours matter most.
- Do not use the bath for 24 hours after we finish (minimum).
- Keep the bathroom dust-free for 48 hours (no drilling/sanding, and avoid leaving tools/materials in the room).
- Cleaning: use a soft cloth/sponge and non-abrasive cleaner only. Avoid scouring pads, abrasive powders, and strong acids.
- Everyday habits: don’t leave metal tins, razor blades, bathmats with suction cups, or standing water for long periods.
- Ventilation: keep the bathroom well ventilated to reduce mould and limescale build-up.
